As a Tech Principal Product Owner, you’ll bridge the gap between engineering and product delivery — driving strategy, prioritisation, and execution to modernise and scale our platforms across AWS and emerging AI technologies.  Roles & responsibilities: Lead the technical product vision and delivery strategy for Cloud Modernisation and GenAI-enabled platforms. Bridge product and engineering disciplines, ensuring delivery teams are aligned to business value while maintaining high technical integrity. Collaborate across teams (Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Business) to identify dependencies, manage blockers, and ensure smooth execution. Translate business goals into technical roadmaps, articulating clear priorities and measurable outcomes. Engage and influence stakeholders, ensuring alignment between technology initiatives and organisational goals. Drive technical decision-making, ensuring that architectural choices support scalability, performance, and maintainability. Champion Agile and DevOps practices, ensuring iterative, data-driven, and customer-focused delivery. Document key decisions and sign-offs, maintaining strong governance and communication across streams. Mentor Product Owners and Engineers, fostering collaboration and a culture of continuous learning. Essential Skills: 15+ years of relevant hands on work experience in software development. Proven experience leading large-scale technology programs or cloud modernisation initiatives. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills — able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience facilitating cross-functional collaboration and managing delivery across multiple teams. Strong documentation and decision-tracking discipline to ensure clarity and accountability. Strong understanding of cloud technologies (AWS preferred), containerisation, and DevOps practices. Familiarity with GenAI platforms, knowledge engineering, or AI-driven automation concepts. Ability to engage in architectural discussions and influence solution design decisions. Understanding of modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, microservices, and observability. Experience in product ownership or delivery leadership within a technology-heavy environment. Skilled in backlog management, prioritisation, and translating strategic goals into actionable stories. Familiarity with Agile and Lean delivery models. Certified Product Owner, Scrum Master, or equivalent qualifications (preferred).
