Job Title: Learning Consultant


Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Learning consulting.


A Learning Consultant has a two-fold role:

  • A Learning Consultant helps build thought leadership in L&D to support the growth of existing NIIT clients and acquisition of new clients. A Senior Learning Consultant works closely with the Principal Consultant to implement the Consulting Outreach plan, which includes research, organizing client roundtables, writing white papers and supporting pre-sales activities.
  • A Senior Consultant works on assigned consulting projects which typically include supporting a client through their learning transformation journeys. This role covers a wide range of consulting engagements such as transformation of the learning organization and its operating model, transformation of the learning technology ecosystem, transformation of learning services, setting up academies and capability institutes, designing leadership development solutions and many others.

Role and Responsibilities:

Innovation & thought leadership

  • Research learning industry trends, methodologies, and best practices and integrate those into daily work.
  • Publish white papers.
  • Implement Consulting Outreach activities, such as Learning Leadership Council and Roundtables.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients and prospects.
  • Support other NIIT practices in defining solutions that include learning org design, cross functional engagement, or a significant shift in learning operations or learning culture.

Consulting projects:

  • Lead a consulting engagement or support the lead consultant in a client engagement.
  • Lead data gathering via interviews, focus groups and surveys.
  • Lead data analysis by identifying trends.
  • Support development of recommendations.
  • Ensure client stakeholder engagement.
  • Facilitate/co-facilitate client discovery workshops.
  • Support a client through implementation of the transformation recommendations.
