We’re Hiring: Structural Steel Estimator (Main & Misc. Steel)We’re looking for a skilledEstimatorto join our team and help with estimating bothmain structural steel connection designandmiscellaneous steel design— including stairs, railings, ladders, gates, and more.The position is for estimating for design of main steel connections and design of misc items - NOT DETAILING STEEL.If you enjoy diving intoarchitectural and structural drawings , understanding how everything fits together, and defining clear scopes of work, this could be a great fit.On Structural drawings -identifying/quantifying time required to perform main steel connection design for shear, moment, bracing and others that are NOT fully detailed on EOR drawings.ON Architectural drawings - identifying/quantifying all miscelleneous metal scope items such as stairs,railings, ladders, gates, sink support frames and other similar miscelleneous metal framing that requires delegated structural design.Steel detailing experience with Tekla and/or SDS software a plusStructural steel design experience with main steel connections and misc metals a plusWhat you’ll do:Review and interpret architectural + structural drawingsPrepare detailed take-offs for design of steel connections or misc steel (e.g., stairs/railings/ladders/etc)Identify scope, connection types, and coordination itemsWork closely with engineers and detailers to ensure accuracyKeep your work organized and clearly documentedWhat we’re looking for:✅ Minimum5 years of experiencein thesteel detailing or fabrication industry.Hands on experience with actual design of main steel connections and misc work strong desired to help with actual estimation.✅ Strong attention to detail when reviewing drawings✅ Understanding of steel connections, stairs, and misc. steel systems✅Enginering Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering✅ Great communication and problem-solving skillsHow to Apply:Please send your resume to ,We look forward to welcoming you to our team of structural engineers PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DONT SATISFY ABOVE REQUIREMENTS.
