This role involves identifying, evaluating, and negotiating with market research vendors to secure high-quality data and insights necessary for informed business decisions.


Key Responsibilities


  • Vendor Identification and Evaluation :
  • Identify and evaluate potential market research vendors.
  • Conduct due diligence to ensure vendors meet company standards for quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.


  • Negotiation and Contract Management :
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with market research vendors.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts and agreements with vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual terms and conditions.


  • Procurement Process Management :
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process for market research services and products.
  • Create and process purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
  • Track and manage the budget for market research purchases.


  • Stakeholder Collaboration :
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including market research, marketing, and product development teams, to understand and fulfill their data needs.
  • Facilitate regular communication between internal teams and external vendors.


  • Market Analysis and Research :
  • Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and best practices in market research procurement.
  • Ensure the acquisition of the most relevant and up-to-date market research data.


  • Quality Assurance :
  • Evaluate the quality and relevance of market research data provided by vendors.
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure data integrity and reliability.


  • Reporting and Documentation :
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all purchases, contracts, and vendor interactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and vendor performance metrics.

Qualifications


  • Education : Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.


  • Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, market research purchasing, or a related field. Experience in a corporate environment is preferred.


  • Skills :
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

  • Proficiency in procurement and contract management software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
