Your ProfileEducated to Masters/Ph.D in Electrical Engineering with High Voltage/Power Systems specialization0-10 years of experience in power systems consultingA network of industry contacts and clientsLead on excellence in power systems software packages (e.g. PSCAD, DIgSILENT, PowerFactory, PSS/E, ETAP etc.)Experience in carrying out extensive EMTP analysis is a mustProactive and highly motivated to meet customer requirementsProven track record in project deliveryAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, often working on multiple projects/ proposals at any one timeAbility to deliver client work efficiently to externally driven deadlinesFocus on quality, ensuring excellence of deliverable for both project reports and proposalsExcellent interpersonal and organization skillsWill be supporting with bidding and winning workWill be involved in writing technical reports and business proposals as well as engaging directly with clientsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential for the roleAn ability and enthusiasm to learn new technical skills is essentialThe work is fast paced and, as a result, excellent organization skills are also required
Roles & ResponsibilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential for the roleTo deliver consulting work related to the various types of power systems studies and analysisTo provide technical and project management leadership to support the project team in the successful delivery of consulting workManagement and resourcing of the power systems teamEnsuring technical quality of delivery of power systems projects, reports and proposalsTo contribute to the commercial development of studies and analysis within the power systems teamTo build and maintain key client relationships to effectively position power systems services and secure future businessTo identify areas where services/skill sets can be integrated through multi-disciplinary working, thereby developing and growing new servicesTo lead the development and delivery of project proposalsLead on efficiency improvements in delivery, for example driving the development of new scripts on power systems software packages
