Summary/ Objective

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Analyst to join our corporate development team. This role will focus on management reporting, business planning, supporting fundraising efforts, and special projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and data interpretation, along with a passion for contributing to the financial goals and strategic vision of the organization.


Roles and Key KPIs

  • Collaborate with various finance and business teams to gather relevant financial data and business insights. Also responsible for report designs, creation and dissemination of relevant reports to management
  • Develop, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support management decision-making.
  • Create and maintain dashboards to track key unit economics and performance indicators (KPIs) and visualize trends.
  • Be an integral part of preparation of budgets, forecasting, strategic planning, and variance analysis ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop financial presentations and materials for potential investors and stakeholders.
  • Prepare relevant financial reports for supporting investor relations efforts
  • Provide data-driven guidance to leaders on company's financial performance, major investments and new growth opportunities
  • Support the implementation of internal controls and best practices to mitigate risks associated with financial operations
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.


Competencies

  1. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. Familiarity with data analytics & visualization tools (Power BI/ Tableau) will be a bonus. In-depth financial acumen, including the ability to understand financial statements, financial ratios, and business KPIs.
  2. Sound understanding financial modelling and valuation
  3. Excellent analytical skills, logical and presentation skills
  4. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with various stakeholders.
  5. Payment/ Fintech experience preferred but not mandatory


Preferred Education and skills

  1. Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. MBA preferred. CA or CFA qualification would be plus.
  2. Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in investor relations, corporate development, management consulting, or a related field within the venture capital, private equity, or transaction advisory services.
