We are a seed-stage startup looking for a motivated, detail-oriented intern to support our editorial staff with content creation, research, and fact-checking. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about journalism, storytelling, and the startup ecosystem.


Our founding team has close to 50 years of experience at publications like The Economic Times, Reuters, The Times of India, and YourStory Media.


Stipend: Above industry standards + opportunity to convert the role from an internship to a full-time position.


Duration: 3-6 months


Skills


  • Strong English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Basic understanding and curiosity about startups, entrepreneurship, and high-growth companies.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and verify information.
  • Basic understanding of journalism principles and ethics.
  • Experience with data collection and analysis.


Responsibilities


  • Assist in writing and editing articles, news stories, and other content focused on startups and high-growth companies.
  • Attend industry events, press conferences, and other relevant events as needed.
  • Conduct interviews with industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and other key stakeholders.
  • Research to support the editorial team and generate new story ideas.
  • Collaborate with writers, editors, and other team members to meet deadlines.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions for content development.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to editorial operations as needed.
