Job Opening: Associate Advocate (Litigation)

We are a full-service law firm based in New Delhi, seeking to recruit Associate Advocate (Litigation) with a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in handling litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Appearances before the Delhi High Court, NCLAT, NCLT, District Courts, and other Tribunals/Forums in Delhi.
  • Handling legal and para-legal assignments independently.
  • Ability to express legal arguments succinctly and coherently.
  • Conducting thorough legal research and analysis.
  • Drafting legal documents, pleadings etc. with precision and attention to detail.
  • Collaborating with senior advocates and providing litigation support.
  • Managing cases related to Commercial, Civil, Arbitration, Corporate, Insolvency, Cheque Bouncing matters and the like.

Requirements:

  • Law degree from a recognized institution.
  • Membership of the Bar Council of India.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience in legal drafting and preparing case files.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of the legal system and procedures.
  • Proven experience handling Commercial, Civil, Corporate, Arbitration, Insolvency, Cheque Bouncing matters and the like.
  • Laptop/PC ownership is mandatory.

Computer Skills

  1. Proficient Use of Legal Software: Familiarity with legal research tools (like Manupatra, SCC Online) and case management software to streamline case documentation and tracking.
  2. Document Management: Skills in creating, editing, and managing legal documents using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel, for drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  3. E-filing Proficiency: Understanding of e-filing systems used in Indian courts, including the ability to navigate online portals and submit documents electronically.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 and Maximum 5 years PQE (internships not included). Freshers strictly need not apply.
  • Proven experience appearing before various courts and tribunals in Delhi.
