Job Description

Preferred experience with functional programming languages (such as SCALA or Clojure)

● Experience working in a service-oriented or microservice architecture

● Preferred experience with containerization, Docker, Kubernetes

● Work well independently and as part of a team.

● Experience with building RESTful APIs

● Experience of writing unit testing codes in various unit testing frameworks

● Experience working with JSON structures

● Experience in various phases of testing, designing and developing complex enterprise applications.

● Solid communication skills, verbal and written

● Hands-on experience with automated testing tools

● Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

● Building and deploying applications and release management

Job Responsibilities

Participate in the design and implementation (testing and Production releases) of sophisticated software systems using functional programming techniques.

● Participate in software design and code reviews. Reviews include other Software Engineers and are held to ensure a high level of software quality and to share knowledge with team members. ● Participate in, and adhere to, professional software engineering practices using such tools and methodologies as Agile Software Development, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Source Code Management (git), Jira, and GitHub.

● Participate in the planning, creation and execution of automated test cases and load/performance testing.

● Address production issues in a timely manner. This includes root cause analysis and working with manager and team members to resolve the problem.

● Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases ● Participate in SDLC: managing releases to all environments

● Participate in On-Call Support as needed (rotation approximately 1 out of 6 weeks)
