At Bloomly, we’re building India’s strongest and most reliable B2B fresh fruit sourcing ecosystem, solving some of the toughest challenges in agri supply chains.Bloomly is looking for a Field Operations manager - Fruit Sourcing, to build and manage strong relationships with farmers, FPOs, and suppliers while ensuring consistent, high-quality fruit sourcing for our supply chain. This role is highly on-ground, requiring travel, vendor management, and deep understanding of produce quality, pricing, and seasonality.Key Responsibilities Identify, onboard, and manage farmers, FPOs, aggregators, and village-level suppliers. Conduct regular field visits to farms, mandi yards, and collection points. Negotiate prices, procurement terms, and ensure reliable supply flow. Evaluate fruit quality at source based on size, grade, maturity, and appearance. Ensure adherence to Bloomly’s quality standards before dispatch. Work with QC teams to reduce rejections and improve category performance. Plan daily/weekly sourcing volumes based on demand forecasts. Coordinate procurement, loading, transportation, and last-mile logistics. Track farm-to-hub movement ensuring minimal wastage and timely delivery. Build long-term farmer relationships through trust, transparency, and consistent engagement. Educate farmers on best practices around post-harvest handling and quality improvement. Maintain strong local network and ground intelligence on crop cycles and availability. Collect daily procurement data, prices, and volumes. Track mandi rates and competitor sourcing trends. Provide insights on crop patterns, seasonality, yields, and potential new sourcing regions. Maintain sourcing documentation, receipts, and vendor records. Ensure ethical, transparent procurement practices at all levels. Support improvements in field operations processes and SOPs.QualificationsDegree/Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Supply Chain, or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory). 0–6M experience in fruit/vegetable sourcing, agri supply chain, mandi operations, or procurement. Knowledge of fruit categories, grading, pricing, and seasonal dynamics is an advantage. Ability to build strong farmer relationships and negotiate effectively. Comfortable with field travel, rural interactions, and on-ground operations.
