The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing and guiding the engineering team, managing software development projects, and ensuring successful project integration. The manager will also lead daily stand-ups, facilitate team collaboration, review code, and ensure alignment with project goals.Basic Qualifications- 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams, including performance management and career growth. - 7+ years of hands-on experience working directly within software engineering teams. - 3+ years of experience designing or architecting scalable and reliable systems, including applying design patterns to new and existing systems. - 5+ years of experience leading the definition, development, and delivery of multi-tier web services. - Strong knowledge of engineering best practices across the full software/hardware/network development lifecycle, including: - Coding standards - Code reviews - Source control management - Build and release processes - Testing and certification - Live-site operations - Bachelors of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering, or Information Technology.Preferred Qualifications- Proven ability to communicate effectively with users, cross-functional technical teams, and senior leadership to: - Gather and clarify requirements - Define software product features - Describe technical designs and architecture - Contribute to long-term product strategy - Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring, and coaching software engineers to improve skills and productivity. - Demonstrated success in building high-performance engineering teams and fostering a collaborative culture. - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities with a track record of delivering results under tight deadlines. - Familiarity with Agile or other iterative development methodologies. - Experience in integration projects or leading cross-team initiatives is a plus.
