Job Title:Senior Manager - Finance Location:Bangalore HQ (on-site) Reports to:Associate Director - FinanceJOB OVERVIEW:We are seeking a highly motivated and experiencedSenior Manager of Controllershipto lead our core finance. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and people management. This is a critical role that requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and collaborative skills to drive the financial success of our business units.The ideal candidate brings knowledge ofIFRS , experience working withBig-4 audit firms , and a strong background ingeneral ledger controllershipandprocess optimization , especially related toPOS device management and control enhancements .KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:I. Financial Leadership & ControllershipServe as theGeneral Ledger (GL) Controllerfor thePoint-of-Sale (POS) business , ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely completion of all financial records and reports. Act as theFinance Controller for the Digital Bills business , overseeing all areas of finance, including business team collaboration and strategic financial planning. Lead and manage the entiremonth-end and year-end close processes , ensuring compliance with all accounting standards and internal policies.II. POS Device Management & Control ImprovementOversee financial management and tracking ofPOS devices , including reconciliation, asset tracking, and loss prevention. Design and implementcontrol improvementsaround POS inventory, deployment, and maintenance. Drive initiatives toautomate and streamline control processesfor operational efficiency.III. Operational & Strategic Finance Manage and optimizeworking capital , including cash flow forecasting, accounts receivable, and inventory management. Oversee theAccounts Payable function , ensuring timely and accurate payments and compliance with all related statutory regulations. Manage all companybank account balances , including reconciliation. Lead and execute critical finance projects, such as accounting formergers & acquisitions ,system migrations , and other key business initiatives.IV. Audit & ComplianceServe as the primary lead for allstatutory audits, internal audits, and other external reviewsfor the POS & Bill-Me books. Ensure strict adherence to allstatutory compliancesrelated to finance, accounts payable, and other relevant areas. Maintain a comprehensive understanding offinancial regulations and reporting requirements , ensuring the company's full compliance.V. Team & People ManagementLead, mentor, and develop ahigh-performing team of 5-6 finance professionals . Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth within the team. Manage performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career development for all direct reports.VI. Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate closely withbusiness unit leadersand other department heads to provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, and achieve business objectives. Partner withtechnology teamson system enhancements and data integrity, particularly with knowledge ofSAP HANA .QUALIFICATIONS:Chartered Accountant (CA)with8 or more yearsof post qualification work experience in finance and accounting. Proven experience in acontrollership or similar senior finance leadership role , with a strong emphasis on core finance. In-depth knowledge ofInternational Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)is highly desirable. Experience in thefintech sectoris a significant plus. Provenpeople management experience , with the ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team. Strongtechnical accounting skillswith a comprehensive understanding of GL operations, month-end close, and financial reporting.
