Role Summary:

Job Title: Associate Creative Director - Art

Location: Richmond Road, Bengaluru

Experience: 8 to 10 years of copy/art experience for integrated ad agencies / mainstream media / new media / marketing / advertising / branding / digital marketing agencies & similar roles with mainline or digital agencies. (we’re not looking for designing experience from other industries)


Role Summary:

The candidate must have exceptional visualizing/conceptualizing and leadership abilities while spearheading a team of designers.


Key Accountabilities:

  • She/He should be experienced in integrated communication spanning mainline and digital with a body of work that demonstrates the same.
  • Must have a keen eye for aesthetics, typography, design, craft and know-how of brand building. And must have a portfolio that reflects this.
  • Should be able to conceptualise and Design keeping in mind the usability principles, design aesthetics and current market trends.
  • This individual should be familiar with digital/social media platforms with an exceptional mode of storytelling that can bring rich details alive within the primary forms of online social content.
  • They need to be comfortable with the pace of content production and a concrete understanding of production and have the ability to lead still/content/film shoots.
  • Must have the ability to think, inspire and train the team for proactive ideas/concepts and know how to package and execute them. She/He should be well-versed in case study creation and direction. And must have a portfolio that reflects the same.
  • Expertly articulate/track project milestones, deliverables, and risks to acting leads and senior management, internal and /or external vendors, while communicating progress, issues, and accomplishments.
  • Applying problem-solving skills and thinking critically to create opportunities for innovation.
  • Must demonstrate a hands-on approach to work, a passion to mentor, and the ability to lead client relationships are a must.
  • Should be able to supervise, support, and inspire creative teams. Monitor the overall quality of the team’s creative output and provide direction and leadership. And can allocate appropriate personnel for all creative assignments.
  • Provide clear direction to teams on creative work, ensuring that it meets clients' goals and strategies.
  • Should be able to create optimum team structures to provide effective, efficient development of creative products and has the ability to determine promotions/incentives applicable to creative managers/team members.
  • Foster positive relationships between the creative department and other agency functional areas.
  • Prepare/package/deliver presentations representing the creative with in-depth knowledge of why choices are being made.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead a cross-disciplinary team.


Professional Skills:

  • 8 to 10 years of digital design or advertising experience, preferably from an advertising agency.
  • Good experience in ad designing and visualization
  • Experience across a range of mainline, digital, and integrated mediums.
  • Breadth of style and design capability
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Well aware of the latest trends in design, web standards, concepts and industry trends.
  • Able to manage and delegate work to the team.
  • Managing skills and a problem-solving attitude are required.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree/diploma from a reputed design school will be an added advantage.
