Title: Business Assistant to Chairman (Sales & Marketing to PSU Companies / Government)
Overview:
Seeking a highly organized and proactive Business Assistant to support the Chairman in managing sales & marketing initiatives and overseeing tender processes. The candidate must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in sales & marketing to PSU companies and be well conversant in tender procedures.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Marketing Support:
- Assist the Chairman in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare sales presentations, proposals, critical draft letters and other marketing materials.
- Coordinate with sales teams to ensure effective customer engagement and relationship management.
- Track sales performance to achieve the targeted sales figure and provide regular reports to the Chairman.
2. Tender Management:
- Identify and track suitable tender opportunities that align with company objectives.
- Prepare tender documents, including technical proposals and financial bids.
- Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information and ensure Ɵmely
- submission of tenders.
- Manage favourable terms with clients to incorporate in the tender
- Maintain a comprehensive record of tender activities and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Engineer with MBA (Finance)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles and techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience in a specific industry or market segment.
- Knowledge of tendering procedures and regulations.
- Ready to travel as per requirement
