Overview of Role:

We are a young and emerging organization in Cyber Security and everyone in team wears several hats.

The Cyber Security Manager will be the part of key leadership team within our organization, responsible for overseeing cyber security projects from inception to go-live and post implementation support also, managing the cyber security team, cultivating the culture of trust and integrity within organization, and ensuring the highest standards of security for our clients. This role requires superior hands-on approach, diversified knowledge, and the ability to wear multiple hats within the organization.


Qualifications

  • Strong Hands On Experience with an Ability to Configure the Security Solutions by your own.
  • 10+ years in Cyber Security.
  • Candidates working at Distributor side will be highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience driving company growth and pipeline through consulting, reseller, and MSSP partners.
  • Data-driven, strategic thinker with sound business judgment, analytical and presentation skills
  • Strong bias for action and ability to deliver results with limited resources in an startup environment.
  • Extensive experience negotiating complex contracts with private and govt institutions with the ability to drive win-win outcomes for both parties in the partnership
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and surprises in environment, run experimental labs to test various solutions in-house, multi tasking, ownership, and deliver results
  • Understanding of evolving cyber threats is highly preferred
  • Ability to travel 15% of the time to meet clients across India
  • Strong technical background, with an engineering degree preferred
  • Working in a start-up environment is highly preferred
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving end results



Roles and Responsibilities:


Technical Expertise:

1.   Should have strong hands-on broad range of cyber security products like end point security, email security gateways, URL filtering solutions, firewall management, vulnerability scanners, identity and access management, data management, data privacy, asset monitoring, mobile device management etc.

a.   The knowledge should not be limited to only managing the products but also the end-to-end deployment of solutions with all possible integrations and policies.

b.   The ideal candidate should know complete know-how about cyber security products i.e. how these products work. Not limited to just knowledge on products console.

2.   Should have strong fundamentals on evolving cyber threats like advanced phishing emails, ransomware anatomy (how actually whole ransomware ecosystem works), ransomware groups and their modus operandi, various threat intel tools and tactics, dark web insights like how to find information on dark web etc.

3.   Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments etc.


Project Management:

1.   Creation of project management plans, scope document, resource allocation, risk register, stakeholder management documents, PowerPoint presentations whatever needed to execute a project

2.   Help in planning the resource arrangements for future projects.

3.   Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when necessary.


Leadership and Management:

1.   Work directly with the founder to develop and design the solutions for clients.

2.   Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cyber security professionals with no bias and judgements, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

3.   Design the training program for internal teams.

4.   Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all cyber security projects.


Client, OEM and Distributor Engagement:

1.   Engage with clients from lead stage itself, and understand their requirements.

2.   Own the presentation of technical solution to client.

3.   Manage the distributors and product OEMs for pricing, lead locking, deciding the right BOQ for client, conduct POC/POV with the help of Disti/OEM and Internal teams, prepare technical BOQ for clients.

4.   Should help organization to cross sell technical products to existing clients.

5.   Act as single point of contact with all clients, OEMs and Distributors.
