Simplotel is seeking a Lead - Sales with experience in B2B sales, particularly in consultative selling. This leadership role requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record of meeting sales targets and driving team success. As the Team Lead, you will lead and guide a team of business development managers, foster strong relationships with hoteliers, and drive market expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement business development strategies to meet sales goals, while leading and mentoring a team of business development managers.

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with hotel executives and decision-makers through regular communication and meetings.

- Explore new market opportunities and territories, both domestically and internationally, to drive business growth.

- Oversee the management of a robust sales pipeline, ensuring a consistent flow of opportunities for both the team and individual contributors.

- Enhance Simplotel's brand by building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the hospitality industry.

- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts to the executive team, and track team performance against set targets.

- Coach and mentor business development managers, helping them identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with large hotels and partners.

- Set and track sales processes and compliance with 4 to 7 years of experience in business development, with a focus on consultative selling (experience in e-commerce or SaaS preferred).

- MBA required (preferably from a top school).

- Proven success in leading sales teams and consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

- Strong oral and written communication skills in English, with excellent presentation skills.

- Ability to foster relationships with key decision-makers.

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and ambiguous environment.

- Ability to travel extensively across India and internationally

- Willingness to work on weekends when required to meet business demands
