Working Days: Sunday to Thursday


Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our team, working on projects for KSA-based customers from our Chennai location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ETL/DW, Azure Data Factory, Python, Pyspark, and Synapse. Exposure to reporting tools like Power BI is a significant advantage. The role requires exceptional SQL and data modeling skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven technical leadership to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies will also be beneficial.


Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and developers.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Provide technical guidance and best practices for data architecture and data integration.


Data Architecture & Modeling:

Design and implement robust data architectures and data models.

Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools such as Azure Data Factory.

Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across the data pipeline.


ETL/DW Development:

Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows and data warehouses.

Work extensively with SQL for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Implement data integration solutions that are scalable and efficient.


Azure Data Solutions:

Utilize Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and other Azure services for data processing and analytics.

Develop and maintain data pipelines using Python and Pyspark.

Optimize Azure environments for performance and cost efficiency.


Reporting and Analytics:

Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI or similar tools.

Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to provide insights and data-driven solutions.


Agile/Scrum Methodologies:

Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.

Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

Extensive experience in ETL/DW, Azure Data Factory, Python, Pyspark, and Synapse.

Strong SQL skills with expertise in data extraction, transformation, and loading.

Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.


Reporting Tools:

Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools is an added advantage.


Communication and Leadership:

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proven ability to lead technical teams and projects.

Ability to interact effectively with customers and stakeholders.


Methodologies:

Experience working in Agile/Scrum projects is preferred.
