Hyperion Duties & Responsibilities :

- Develops and maintains planning forms, business rules, task lists, calculation scripts and reports to support business requirements for planning cycles and reporting goals in the Hyperion Planning and PBCS applications

- Maintains and develops ETL routines, meta-data member updates, associated hierarchies (organizations, accounts, plan sets, ) and mappings for various incoming data sources (Business Objects / FMIS, HFM, spreadsheets, Essbase) and downstream reporting applications (SAP, Business Objects/ FMIS, Essbase, PBCS) by leveraging FDMEE, load rules, SQL routines and other technology

- Create / modify, test and promote Planning/Essbase reports/scripts/data forms to meet the needs of the business

- Manage and enhance application control procedures for Planning/Essbase

- Coordinate and administer Disaster Recovery testing for the Planning / Essbase applications annually

- Update the departmental procedures and process maps for Planning and Essbase annually

- Responsible for the proper functioning of all Planning and Essbase applications, including all utilities and tools required to maintain the production and test environments

- Works with Financial, Planning and Analysis Teams to gather planning model and reporting requirements, implements, tests and delivers

- Supports future development and enhancements of Hyperion Planning and PBCS, which may include Workforce, CapEx and Balance Sheet/NII planning models

- Provides support and technical assistance to end users of Workspace and Smart view for Planning and Essbase / Reporting

Hyperion Qualifications :

- List any licenses or certifications required by the position: PMP, EPM, CPA, LEAN, CFA, MBA, ITIL, HFM, BI, AWS

Education for Hyperion :

- relevant degree such as Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Technical, Business, Education, Information Systems, Engineering, MBA, Information Technology

Skills for Hyperion :

Desired skills for hyperion include :

- Best practices

- Cross-product interoperability of the Hyperion suite

- Essbase

- Planning

- Excel

- DRM

- GAAP

- Hyperion Essbase

- FDMEE

- IFRS accounting standards

Desired experience for hyperion includes :

- Responsible for development, enhancement and support of Hyperion essbase and HPCM components

- Responsible for proactively informing business and application owners of solution design risks and performance issues with constructive solutions

- Liaising with business super users to understand the requirements and preparing technical design document against the requriements during change release

- Demonstrating value delivered by quality Essbase/HPCM solution implementation and support

- Pick up on other technology areas within Hyperion and progress to support them, FDM, OBIEE

- Experience of other Oracle Hyperion Products (Hyperion Financial Management and Financial Data Quality Management - FDM) would be beneficial
