Establishing strategic plans based on careful data analysis is imperative for every organization. EA, Strategy Operations helps the CEO to assess strategy’s strengths and weaknesses, determine the right path, and achieve its goals. You will be responsible for assisting shape the direction and success of the Strategy. Whether the strategies are long-term business plans or short-term goals, you will assist the founder & CEO in organizing, developing and implementing effective execution of strategies that match the company’s vision and mission.


Summary:

● MBA, Operations or MBA, Finance from reputed Management school to the equivalent of IIMs or ISB. Certificate Program or equivalent on Business Strategy, Corporate Strategy or Strategic thinking will be an added advantage

● 2-3 years of overall work experience with

○ experience being part of the Founder / CEO office of less than 250 employees IT services company.

○ experience assisting Strategy Operations for a founder / CEO . Experience being part of transition ad-hoc unstructured strategy execution (being managed by the founder himself) to a framework based structured approach will be highly valued.

● Strong organizational skills to organize mental maps, data/information/ work / systems at different horizons (week, month, quarters, year) using a variety of management tools. This includes managing CEO’s work context, internal & external priorities, day 2 day calendar and logistics, as appropriate. Strong skills in office tools like Google Apps (Spreadsheets, Docs, slides..), Work Management tools like JIRA, Monday.com or equivalent etc. You are expected to be a power user of spreadsheets and presentations.


What are you expected to do & how:

● Assist organize Business Strategy for effective collaboration and tracking of Strategy operations. This includes alignment between Mission, Vision, Values (MVV) to Strategic Themes, Strategy Map, Key Objectives and result areas, Strategic Initiatives and Business Operations.

● Manage all strategy knowledge repositories be it Business Strategy, Business Objectives,Key Results & metrics. Breakdown these business objectives into respective trackable Operational Strategy, Finance Strategy, Marketing Strategy, Sales Strategy, HR strategy etc. etc.

● Document & articulate various aspects of strategies to communicate to the Leadership team to influence and manage change as a part of strategic objectives and initiatives.

○ Articulate market side of the strategy for effective branding, positioning, GTM and revenue realization from the Business Development efforts.

○ Articulate Partner / OEM side of the strategy for onboarding high potential OEMs and grow existing high potential OEM relationships.

○ Articulate Strategic Investor or Alliance facing growth strategy for fund raise or partnership

● Help CEO & other directors with tasks such as scheduling; reviewing, prioritizing and responding to emails; answering and returning phone calls; organizing documents; maintaining records; taking notes at meetings and any other administrative tasks that help the executive perform their job.

● Use all Strategy execution feedback loops to keep strategy aligned to ground realities in the internal and external ecosystem

○ Variance analysis from cross functional business operations to shape strategy.

○ Variance analysis from PMO, Strategic initiatives to shape the strategy & strategy execution.

○ Stay connected and watch indicators from players in the enreap’s value chain to shape the strategy.

● Be a sounding board to the Management to assess if the Strategy is shaping in an integrated and synergistic way. Demonstrate that the Balanced Scorecard Measurement (BSC) reflects reality in terms of where we are & if strategy execution is heading in the right direction.


What are we looking for:

● Sound experience in assisting strategy operations for a small size IT Services company.

● Strong experience in supporting efforts on organizing and managing Strategy Operations using known frameworks like Strategy Maps, Balanced Scorecard, OKRs etc.

● Some application oriented experience of various strategy analysis, organization, prioritization and articulation frameworks like Business Model Canvas (BMC), Ansoff Matrix, Value Chain management etc.

● Sound understanding of Business Performance Measurement unit economic metrics like Margins at various levels, ROIC / Economic Value Add (EVA), Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC), Cost of Customer Acquisition (CAC), Customer lifecycle Value (CLV).

● Sound application oriented experience of operations management concepts like Conversion Ration, Cycle times and Avg. ticket size
