Role Profile : IT ManagerJob Description :We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Manager to oversee the technology infrastructure and operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise and business acumen to drive technological advancements and ensure seamless operationsRole & responsibilities :1. IT Infrastructure Management :- Plan, implement, and maintain the hotel's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, network systems, and telecommunications.- Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security of IT systems.- Manage IT budget and procurement processes.2. Technology Strategy :- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the hotel's business objectives.- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and guest experience.- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.3. Project Management :- Oversee IT-related projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.4. IT Support :- Provide technical support to hotel staff and guests.- Manage the IT support team and ensure timely resolution of IT issues.- Develop and implement IT support procedures and documentation.5. Data Security :- Implement and maintain robust data security measures to protect sensitive guest and hotel information.- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.6. Team Management :- Lead and develop the IT team.- Set clear goals and performance expectations.- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.7. Preferred Candidate Profile :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT management, preferably in the hospitality industry.- Strong technical expertise in network infrastructure, hardware, software.- Proven ability to manage IT projects and budgets effectively.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Desired Skills :- Experience with property management systems (PMS) and other hospitality-specific software.- Knowledge of cloud computing and visualization technologies.- Experience in implementing IT systems in a multi-site environment.
