Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced AWS Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Terraform and a good understanding of AWS services such as Landing Zone, Control Tower, and related security and compliance tools. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automating AWS infrastructure deployments, with a focus on networking, identity management, and data security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AWS Automation:
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated infrastructure deployments in AWS using Terraform.
  • Implement and manage AWS Control Tower and Landing Zone configurations.
  • Leverage AWS Control Tower Account Factory for Terraform (AFT) for provisioning and managing AWS accounts.
  • AWS Infrastructure Management:
  • Configure and manage AWS Organizations, including SCPs (Service Control Policies) and Guardrails.
  • Implement networking solutions including VPC, Subnets, Transit Gateway, and related network components.
  • Identity and Access Management:
  • Manage AWS IAM roles, policies, and Identity Center configurations.
  • Ensure proper governance and security through IAM roles and policy management.
  • Security and Compliance:
  • Implement and manage data security and compliance measures, including encryption and resource policies.
  • Monitor and enhance security using AWS Config, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and other AWS security services.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
  • Collaboration and Support:
  • Work closely with DevOps, security, and other cross-functional teams to integrate automated solutions.
  • Provide guidance and support on best practices for AWS infrastructure and security.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services and automation using Terraform.
  • Proven experience in managing AWS Control Tower, Landing Zone, and related services.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of AWS networking, including VPC, Subnets, and Transit Gateway.
  • Proficiency in AWS IAM, Identity Center, and role/policy management.
  • Solid understanding of data security, compliance, and monitoring tools like AWS Config, Security Hub, and GuardDuty.
  • Certifications:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) or equivalent certifications preferred.
  • Terraform certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with AWS Control Tower Account Factory for Terraform (AFT).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
