Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a R&D and QC Specialist - Polymer based in Silvassa. The Specialist will be responsible for conducting and documenting experiments in the R&D laboratory, supporting QC lab activities, and ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are maintained. Other duties include, developing and testing sample formulations and coordinating with the production department to scale up promising new materials.
Qualifications
PhD, Masters or Bachelor's or Master's degree in Polymer Science and Technology,
BSc Chemistry, MSc Chemistry , CIPET Polymers for QA - QC.
Significant experience in R&D and/or QC in polymer materials
Thorough understanding of polymer-based materials, including Polymer identification, characterizations, Reactions, compounding, synthesis, processing, characterization, and testing
Hands-on experience in analytical and instrumental techniques (e.g. DSC, FTIR, TGA, GPC, UTM, MFI, Density etc.) and in support of QC development
Knowledge of common analytical techniques and laboratory protocols for the characterization of polymers
Collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented, capable of working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
Experience in scale-up processes will be a plus
Experience in analytical characterization of polymer complaints, and technical customer visits will be a plus
Certifications like ISO, IATF, REACH, FDA handing and management experience preferred.
Experience :
Minimum 2-3 Yrs for Executive QA /QC & R&D, Freshers
Minimum 5 years for Team lead position.
