Job description We are seeking a dedicated and innovative R&D Engineer specializing in Optical / Data Cables and wires used in flying parts of the aircraft to join our dynamic team in Ghaziabad. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test Optical fibre, data and communication cables for aerospace and defence applications. Conduct research to identify and implement advanced materials and technologies in cable design. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data cable designs meet project specifications and industry standards. Perform simulations and analyses to predict performance, reliability, and durability of data cables. Develop and document technical specifications, test plans, and reports. Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality standards. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing and quality assurance teams. Participate in project planning, milestone tracking, and risk management activities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a reputed institution. Proven experience in R&D within the aerospace, defence, or related high-tech industries. Strong knowledge of data cable design, materials, and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and technical writing skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Passion for continuous learning and professional development. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Experience with aerospace and defence industry standards and regulations.
