Description : Job Title : Business Analyst Core Banking / Private Banking DomainExperience : 10 to 15 YearsLocation : Chennai, IndiaJob Type : Work From OfficeAbout the Role : We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst with deep expertise in Core Banking systems, specifically within the Private Banking domain. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to Credit Products, Derivatives, and Securities, with a solid understanding of Temenos Transact (T24) modules such as AA, MD, SC, DX, SY, among others. This role demands a blend of business acumen, technical understanding, and hands-on experience in system analysis, solution design, and stakeholder management within complex banking environments.Key Responsibilities : - Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for Core Banking implementations and enhancements.- Work closely with Private Banking teams to identify process improvement opportunities, analyze current workflows, and propose effective technology-driven solutions.- Perform detailed business analysis for Credit Products (Mortgage, Lombard Loans, Structured Finance, Guarantees), Derivatives (Options, Structured Products), and Securities (Equities, Fixed Income, Funds).- Define and document functional specifications, business process flows, use cases, and system integration points in alignment with project goals and timelines.- Translate business needs into technical requirements for developers and ensure accurate implementation of functionalities within Core Banking systems.- Provide subject matter expertise on Temenos Transact (T24) and its modules such as AA (Arrangement Architecture), MD (Market Data), SC (Securities), DX (Data Exchange), and SY (System Management).- Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for change requests and regulatory updates in private banking operations.- Participate in solution design, system configuration, SIT/UAT testing, and post-implementation support.- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and developers to ensure end-to-end delivery of projects within scope, time, and budget.- Facilitate workshops and presentations for senior management and business users, effectively communicating complex business and system concepts.- Maintain strong awareness of market trends, evolving regulatory requirements, and technological advancements in the Private Banking and Wealth Management sectors.Required Skills and Experience : - 1015 years of overall IT experience, with a strong focus on Business Analysis in Core Banking or Private Banking domains.- Proven track record of working on end-to-end implementations, migrations, or enhancement projects in Core Banking systems (preferably Temenos Transact / T24).- Deep understanding of Private Banking products, including Credit, Derivatives, and Securities.- Strong experience in Temenos Transact modules AA, MD, SC, DX, SY, and other relevant functional areas.- Hands-on experience in preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications (FS), Use Cases, and Data Mapping documentation.- Proficient in performing UAT, coordinating defect management, and ensuring successful deployment of business solutions.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.- Strong communication and documentation abilities, capable of interfacing with both technical and business teams.- Knowledge of SWIFT, Payments, Corporate Actions, Portfolio Management, and Risk Management concepts will be an advantage.- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management systems.Preferred Qualifications : - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.- Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.- Prior experience in working with global Private Banking clients or wealth management institutions.Soft Skills : - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.- Proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Why Join Us : - Opportunity to work with cutting-edge Core Banking technologies.- Exposure to global Private Banking practices and complex financial instruments.- Collaborative work culture encouraging learning and innovation.- Competitive compensation and career development opportunities.
