The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and secure backend solutions using .NET Core and deploying them on Azure Cloud Services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, cloud-native applications that meet performance and security standards.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core- Build and consume RESTful APIs to support various application components- Develop scalable, cloud-native solutions using Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, and Service Bus- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and other backend engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment- Write clean, modular, and testable code adhering to best practices and coding standards- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability in a cloud environment- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and documentationMust-Have Skills :- 6+ years of backend development experience with .NET / C#- Good experience in microservices architecture- Proficiency in ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, Web API, and LINQ- Strong experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git- Good understanding of SQL Server or other relational databases- Solid knowledge of RESTful API design and integration- Familiarity with asynchronous programming, dependency injection, and clean architecture principles- Experience with containerization (Docker) and hosting services in Azure App Services or AKS is a plus- Understanding of cloud security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms (e.g., Azure AD, OAuth2)Nice-to-Have Skills :- Exposure to message queues such as Azure Service Bus or RabbitMQ- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights) (ref:hirist.tech)
