Job Description:

As the Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be the strategic driver behind our product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies. You will collaborate closely with product management, sales, and other marketing functions to ensure that our products are effectively marketed to the right audiences. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of product marketing, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of launching and growing successful products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature releases.
  • Product Positioning: Craft clear, compelling messaging that differentiates our products in the market and resonates with target audiences.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market opportunities, customer needs, and emerging trends.
  • Sales Enablement: Create and deliver sales tools, training, and collateral that empower our sales team to effectively position and sell our products.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, sales, customer success, and other teams to align on product strategy and ensure successful product launches.
  • Content Development: Oversee the creation of high-quality marketing materials, including case studies, white papers, webinars, and blog posts.
  • Customer Insights: Gather and leverage customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of product marketing campaigns, using data to optimize strategies and improve ROI.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of [industry or specific market] and experience marketing to [target audience, e.g., B2B, B2C, enterprise, etc.].
  • Strategic Thinker: Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and execute high-impact marketing strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and present to senior leadership.
  • Leadership: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
