Job Description:

To prepare & carry out lifting & rigging related intervention among site personnel & conduct awareness programs to sustain an accident-free site related to lifting & rigging.


Key Responsibilities :


  • He is responsible for successfully implementing Lifting and Rigging program of the project with a support and coordination of High-risk Focus team (Lifting and Rigging)
  • Prepare /Review and approve lift plan, Method statement and HIRA
  • Provide necessary support to prepare lifting operations SOP
  • Review and random clearance for lifting permit and lift plans by daily basis
  • Monitoring the critical lifts for safe execution
  • Deliver / witness tool box talk at project sites
  • Necessary review and support for basic, intermediate & critical lifting activities
  • Inspection of lifting equipment and accessories as per monthly activity plan
  • Review and ensure maintenance of lifting equipment register
  • Monitor adherence to schedule for inspection of lifting equipment and lifting accessories
  • Implement color coding system/ Fitness ID tags for lifting equipment & tools and tackles
  • Prepare training materials. Impart training for lifting team. i.e., slinger, signaler, lifting supervisor, crane operator. i.e. class room & Practical training
  • Participate in management meeting and raise high severity Lifting & rigging observations
  • Provide inputs to management on strengthening the system of lifting and rigging
  • To prepare and submit weekly, Monthly MIS to Project manager


Educational Qualification Required :

Any degree/ Diploma - Mechanical /Civil + Lifting/ rigging certification – OPITO / LEEA / TUV / VELOSI / Relevant TPI Certificate


Experience:

8+ years & 3years post certification


Quality:

Should have worked in large construction sites in India and abroad.

Must have hands on experience on green field / brown field projects


Skills: Candidate with Oil & Gas , Large construction experience is required


Mandatory

Certification – OPITO / LEEA / TUV / VELOSI / Relevant TPI Certificate

Degree – Diploma/BE/BTECH (Regular)

Experience- 8 + Years

Notice Period – Immediate Joiner preferable
