Role Description


As a full-time remote Data Analyst at InHousen, you will be pivotal in designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions to support our business operations and strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our data is accurate, accessible, and useful for analysis and decision-making. Responsibilities


  • Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau, etc.
  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Create data models and define metrics, KPIs, and dimensions for reporting and analytics.
  • Build and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction and analysis.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across different reporting platforms.
  • Implement and manage data governance and data quality practices.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot BI systems and applications to ensure high performance and availability.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to existing BI solutions and processes.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Data Analyst Associate) is a plus.
  • 4-8 years of proven experience as a BI Developer, Data Analyst, or similar role.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of AWS tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and principles.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to data accuracy and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
