Role & Responsibilities:


  • Translate client requirements into cloud based technology solution create and own architecture deliverables
  • Design & plan Cloud Solution Architecture
  • Manage and provision the GCP solution Infrastructure in terms of Org Setup, Project , Folder setup, setting up User Access Control setup with corporate Identity platform
  • Hands on experience in installing / configuration of GKE{Google Kubernetes engine} Preferred
  • Hands on Experience in Linux Environment , commands, bash scripts , bootup scripts orchestration, yaml configuration for admin / user cluster, setting up seesaw load balancer.
  • Previous experience in Provision Audit logs & metrics per devSecOps guidelines.
  • Understand & Able to develop/test of rest / SOAP APIs documentation
  • Coordinate with Infra ,Network team to provide details of GCP set up and aiding in creating dev/test , Prod GCP- hybrid platform and DR set up.
  • Self-motivated, passionate to drive, constantly looking to develop, embraces change with a sense of urgency and enjoys positively challenging the status quo.
  • Must have Prior experience in utilizing GCP yaml templates to configure & setup.
  • Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly-distributed global cloud-based systems. Experience in network infrastructure, security.
  • Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practice
  • Google Cloud certified professional cloud architect is a plus.
  • Experience of building a range of Services in a Cloud Service provider (ideally GCP)
  • Expert understanding of service for data and analytics in GCP (Big Table, Big Query, GCS etc ) from operational standpoint
  • Expert understanding of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as a Code concepts and techniques
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD and available tools
  • Security and Compliance, e.g. IAM and cloud compliance/auditing/monitoring tools
  • Customer/stakeholder focus. Ability to build strong relationships with Application teams, cross functional IT and global/local IT teams
  • Good leadership and teamwork skills
  • Works collaboratively in an agile environment with DevOps application pods to provide GCP specific capability/skills required to deliver the service.
  • Operational effectiveness - delivers solutions that align to approved design patterns and security standards
  • Excellent skills in at least one of following: Python, Scala, Terraform
  • Experienced in full automation and configuration management
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
  • A comprehensive understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others compliance with relevant regulatory processes



Required Skillsets:


  • A certification in any cloud platform proficient in architecting designing implementing cloud solutions
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and infrastructure
  • Proven experience with GCPservices and tools especially compute services such as Cloud Run, App Engine,GKE, Cloud Functions, etc.(Other cloud exp like AWS,Azure will also work)
  • Expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure and highly available cloud solutions
  • Experience with cloud migration and optimization
  • Scripting using Python
  • Ability to perform research, build POCs and propose end to end solutions
  • Exceptionally good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • 4+ years of relevant experience as a DevOps engineer
  • Proficient with git and git workflows
  • Experience architecting containerized environments for micro-services
  • Familiarity with essential Docker tools
  • Expert in configuration management for a CI/CD environment using Jenkins / Ansible
  • Experience with Python, Java, Go, Perl, and/or .NET
  • Developed and executed plans and testing for Disaster Recovery
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Configuration and managing databases such as MySQL, Mongo
  • Excellent troubleshooting
  • Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services (GCP knowledge good to have)
  • Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
