Job Summary:
We're looking for a highly driven and strategic Area Sales Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in shaping and executing our sales and marketing strategy, meticulously preparing sales forecasting reports, and actively building a robust sales pipeline. You'll closely monitor our sales performance with the overarching goal of significantly expanding our company's market share. Your collaborative nature will be key to your success as you coordinate seamlessly with external distributors and internal sales and marketing Monitor and report on sales performance across your assigned area, analyzing key metrics and identifying areas for growth or improvement.
- Manage and coach a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure they meet and exceed targets.
- Assist in developing and refining the annual marketing and sales plans, contributing insights from the field to strategic initiatives.
- Build and nurture a strong sales pipeline for new business opportunities, identifying potential clients and fostering relationships.
- Coordinate effectively with external distributors to maximize market penetration and sales efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with internal sales and marketing teams to ensure aligned strategies and consistent messaging.
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and new opportunities within the designated area.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and performance reports for management review.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and provide excellent service throughout the sales Master's/Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in FMCG sales is a strong requirement
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in coaching and motivating sales professionals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical abilities for sales forecasting and performance monitoring.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
