The Unified InterOp Platform (UIP) team focuses on building Interface, Services, Solutions & Platform for IKS Health spanning across various Interface technical skills and supporting IKS products & multiple business processes for both Clinical and Payer services.

What will you be responsible for?

  1. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing, building, testing and deploying the interfaces. The sole owner of the quality of the interface and its functioning.
  2. Gathering data requirements for all inbound and outbound messages that will feed through the interface engine.
  3. Analyzing data and requirements to determine what will be needed to successfully build and test the interface connections for a seamless data flow.
  4. Creating connections in the Interface Engine for EHRs and applications for various message flows.
  5. Coordinate testing with clients and internal teams to ensure the functional and non-functional requirements are met before go-live.
  6. Continuously learn and adopt the Interface technologies – e.g., HL7 v2.x, CCD, CCDA, FHIR, XML/JSON, Web Services, SOAP, REST APIs.
  7. Create a strong documentation repository for each message, customers and for all the phases of development/delivery life cycle.
  8. Supporting the business updates during review meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Provide continuous feedback for improvements on new processes, policies, and procedures that positively impact the business and organization values.
  10. Deliver data-driven & complex solutions with a customer-first mindset with multicultural and global teams in different time zones.
  11. Be a critical member for the self organized, cross-functional team that follows the best practices of Agile methodology.


What are the skills expected?

  1. Interface development using Rhapsody and/or Mirth, Corepoint, Intersystem HealthConnect (Ensemble) or equivalent interface engine.
  2. Strong knowledge and Hands-on with messaging standards but not limited to HL7 v2.x, CCD, CCDA, FHIR, XML/JSON, Web Services, SOAP, REST APIs.
  3. Basic understanding of software development using .Net / C# / Java, SQL and reporting using Power BI or other BI tools.
  4. Proficient in JavaScript, and/or Node.js.
  5. Nice to have an experience with GCP : deployment, monitoring, and management.
  6. Proficient in SQL.
  7. Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Docker.
  8. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  9. Start-up mindset and quick to learn new technologies & methodologies.


Professional Experience:

4+ years of Interface development and architecture experience.

Experience building and maintaining large-scale, high-performance interfaces using Rhapsody.

Led complex technical development and migration projects from concept to completion.

Designed scalable systems capable of handling high volumes of data and traffic.


Education:

Masters/Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
