Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Risk Underwriter to join our team, specializing in the logistics or non-banking financial company (NBFC) sector. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of clients in the logistics industry, ensuring prudent risk management practices and adherence to regulatory Evaluate credit worthiness: Conduct thorough credit assessments of clients or borrowers applying for loans or financial services, utilizing industry-specific underwriting criteria and risk assessment methodologies.

- Industry analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks in the logistics sector. Analyze industry-specific factors that may impact credit risk, such as supply chain dynamics, regulatory compliance, and economic conditions.

- Develop underwriting guidelines: Collaborate with senior management and risk management teams to develop and refine underwriting guidelines tailored to the logistics sector. Ensure that underwriting policies align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

- Portfolio management: Monitor the credit quality of the loan portfolio or client base, identifying early warning signals of credit deterioration and taking proactive measures to mitigate risk. Conduct periodic reviews of existing exposures to assess ongoing creditworthiness and compliance with underwriting standards.

- Risk mitigation strategies: Recommend risk mitigation strategies and controls to address sector-specific risks, such as supply chain disruptions, credit concentration, or regulatory compliance issues. Implement measures to mitigate potential losses and optimize risk-adjusted returns.

- Regulatory compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies governing lending activities in the logistics sector. Stay updated on regulatory developments and participate in regulatory examinations and audits as required.

- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, and legal teams, to facilitate efficient credit decision-making processes and ensure alignment with business objectives. Provide guidance and support to frontline staff on credit-related Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.

- 2+ years of experience in credit risk management, underwriting, or financial analysis, with a focus on the logistics industry.

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis, and risk assessment techniques.

- In-depth knowledge of logistics operations, supply chain management, or NBFC lending products and services.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex credit concepts and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.

- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in credit decision-making processes.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on achieving organizational goals and objectives.
