Manager - Process Engineer (ME - Toolroom) Experience:10–15 Years Education:Bachelor's or Master's Degree inElectrical, Electronics, or MechanicalEngineering.This is astrategic leadership roleresponsible for driving operational excellence, capital planning, and process innovation across the Engine and Genset manufacturing value chain. The Manager will be the primary driver for implementing next-generation assembly tools and lean manufacturing practices.Key Accountabilities Process Strategy & Implementation: Establish best practicesfor new assembly tools, fixtures, and facility layouts using market research. Manage all process planning, design, and monitoringactivities to optimize production flow. Plan and execute effective Layout changes,including the design of storage and material handling to promoteLean manufacturing . Financial & Resource Management: Prepare and executeCAPEX and Revenue budgetsand calculateCapacity and Manpowerrequirements based on Annual Operating Plans (AOPs). ExecuteMake and Buy decisionsand manage Engineering Change processes. Quality & Improvement (PQCS): DriveProcess Change Managementfor continual improvement inProductivity, Quality, Cost, and Safety . Identify and lead projectsfor productivity improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement. Review, analyze, and implement actions to addressnon-conformance, customer complaints, and line rejections . Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate with CFT(Cross-Functional Teams) forProto Executionof new engines and support root cause analysis for customer complaints. Collaborate with teams ( Quality, Maintenance, CRE/AE ) to design and implementsmart manufacturingsolutions (e.g., low-cost automation, Poka-Yoke).Essential Expertise Manufacturing Systems:Deep knowledge ofISO/TS, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Kaizen, 5S , andLean manufacturing practices . Product Knowledge:Expert knowledge of the fullAssembly, Testing, Painting, and Packing processfor Engines and Gensets. Automation & Digital:Strong practical knowledge offirmware, electrical circuits, PLCs, ECUs, and GCUrelated software, alongsidetesting softwareandAutoCAD . Design & Analysis:Proficiency inGD&T ,Drawing reading ,Motion Study ,Capacity Planning , andCycle Time Calculation . Testing & Troubleshooting:Expertise inCRDI engine synchronizationand troubleshooting, includingPerformance testingfor new product development and knowledge of regulatory tests ( ARAI, COP ).
