Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

- Oversee the hotel's financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

- Monitor key financial metrics and analyze financial performance.

- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.

- Manage cash flow and optimize working capital.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, aligning with the hotel's strategic goals.

- Prepare detailed budgets for various departments, including revenue, expense, and capital expenditure budgets.

- Conduct regular reviews of budgets and forecasts to ensure accuracy and relevance.

- Analyze variances between actual performance and budget, identifying underlying causes and recommending corrective actions.

Financial Reporting:

- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g, IND AS) and regulatory requirements.

- Provide insightful financial analysis and commentary on key performance indicators.

- Develop and maintain financial dashboards and reports to track key metrics and trends.

Internal Controls:

- Design, implement, and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.

- Conduct regular reviews of internal controls to ensure their effectiveness.

- Identify and address control weaknesses promptly.

- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

Tax Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including GST, Income Tax, and other indirect taxes.

- Coordinate with external tax consultants to optimize tax planning and minimize tax liabilities.

- Prepare and file accurate tax returns and other statutory filings.

- Manage tax audits and resolve tax disputes.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in financial software (e.g, Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems)

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Attention to detail and accuracy

Desired Skills:

- Experience in the hospitality industry

- Knowledge of revenue management and yield management principles

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

- Strong leadership and team management skills
