Platform Engineer – Java/ BigData/ KubernetesJob DescriptionSyntasa is seeking a high-caliber and dedicated Platform Engineer to join its India subsidiary, Syntasa Technologies India Private Limited. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of a world-class development and support center. The India operations will serve as an extension of Syntasa’s US-based software development and support functions.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and optimize data processing and platform services using Java and Big Data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop). - Build and maintain scalable microservices and backend APIs supporting data-driven applications and integrations across systems. - Deploy, manage, and scale workloads using Kubernetes and containerized environments. - Work closely with platform, and DevOps teams to ensure reliability, automation, and performance. - Implement cloud-native and CI/CD best practices to streamline delivery and operations.Skills & ExperienceMust-Have:- Strong expertise in Java and SpringBoot for backend and data-intensive applications. - Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Hive, etc.). - Practical knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and scaling.Nice to Have:- Familiarity with Kafka or other real-time streaming systems. - Knowledge of RDBMS (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.Requirements- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 4+ years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, or Platform Engineer. - Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, distributed engineering environment.-
