Job Title : QA Engineer - Playwright Automation : 5 =- 7 YearsLocation : On-siteEmployment Type : Full-timeAbout the Role :We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright and solid experience in JavaScript/TypeScript.The ideal candidate will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable applications.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks using Playwright.- Write, execute, and maintain automation test scripts in JavaScript/TypeScript.- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).- Perform functional, regression, integration, and cross-browser testing.- Identify, log, and track defects while ensuring timely resolution.- Drive best practices in automation testing and mentor junior QA engineers when needed.Required Skills & Experience :- 5 - 7 years of professional experience in QA Automation.- Strong hands-on experience in Playwright automation.- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation.- Good knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).- Familiarity with API testing (REST/GraphQL) is a plus.- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.Good to Have :- Experience with other automation frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, etc.)- Knowledge of performance and security testing concepts.- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
