Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, monitoring, and provisioning tasks across Windows-based systems.- Write, optimize, and manage SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data used in automation workflows.- Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, and data engineering teams to deliver end-to-end automation solutions.- Create reusable components, scripts, and automation templates with proper documentation.- Contribute to the development and maintenance of operational runbooks and incident response automation procedures.- Continuously improve automation standards, tooling, and best practices.- Participate in troubleshooting and debugging of automation-related issues in production and staging environments.Must-Have Skills :- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or in a similar scripting/automation role.- Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting for Windows systems.- Solid understanding of Windows Server environments, system administration, and task automation.- Experience with SQL and working with databases for automation-related data handling.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good-to-Have Skills :- Exposure to DevOps principles and collaboration with CI/CD pipelines.- Familiarity with tools such as Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps, or similar.- Basic understanding of CI/CD practices and integration with version control systems.- Knowledge of automation in hybrid or cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.Qualifications :- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.- [Optional : Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified : PowerShell, Azure Administrator, etc.]- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Strong documentation practices and teamwork mindset.
