The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of practical DevOps experience, primarily focused on AWS Cloud and Linux-based environments. This role requires a professional who can design, automate, and optimize infrastructure and workflows, ensuring the organizations applications are reliable, secure, and continuously available.Key Responsibilities :1. Cloud Infrastructure & Infrastructure as Code (IaC) :- You will be responsible for architecting and managing AWS environments that are built to scale efficiently while maintaining high standards of security, reliability, and availability. - The role includes designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible, ensuring that all cloud resources are automated, version-controlled, and repeatable.- You will configure advanced networking setups including VPC Peering, Transit Gateway, and PrivateLink/Connect, allowing secure and optimized interconnectivity between distributed systems and multi-account AWS architectures. - A strong understanding of AWS networking components such as subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, and security groups is crucial.2. CI/CD and Automation :- The candidate will build, maintain, and optimize Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and SonarQube. - You will automate deployments, testing, provisioning, and monitoring processes to ensure smooth and error-free software delivery.- Your focus will be on minimizing manual intervention through end-to-end automation from code integration to production deployment while maintaining quality through automated testing and validation pipelines. - Experience with DevSecOps practices and integrating security checks within CI/CD workflows is highly desirable.3. Containers & Orchestration :- You will work extensively with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) to build, deploy, and manage scalable workloads. This includes setting up container orchestration clusters, defining resource limits, implementing auto-scaling policies, and monitoring performance.- Additionally, you will handle IAM Roles for Service Accounts (IRSA), ensuring that each microservice or pod gets the least-privileged access required to interact securely with AWS resources. - Performance optimization and troubleshooting of microservices-based architectures are also key responsibilities.4. Monitoring, Observability & Reliability :- A strong emphasis will be placed on observability and operational excellence. - You will implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, CloudWatch, M/Monit, and Datadog.- You will develop dashboards, alerts, and proactive monitoring systems to track performance, latency, and uptime. The goal is to identify and resolve issues before they affect production systems, ensuring high availability (HA) and disaster recovery readiness.5. Security & Compliance :- Security is a foundational aspect of this role. You will apply AWS security best practices, enforcing Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles, Single Sign-On (SSO), and role-based access control (RBAC).- You will also configure and manage AWS-native security services including AWS WAF, GuardDuty, Inspector, and other compliance tools to safeguard cloud assets.- Experience in configuring VPNs, firewalls, AWS Organizations, and implementing secure access policies across multi-account environments will be critical. - You will also ensure systems comply with relevant security frameworks and internal governance standards.6. Databases & Analytics :- The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of multiple database systems, both SQL and NoSQL. - Expertise in MongoDB, Snowflake, Aerospike, RDS, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, and other RDBMS solutions is required.- You will handle database reliability, scalability, performance tuning, and data migration across environments.
