Position: International Student Advisor, South Asia


As an International Student Advisor, you will play a crucial role in representing a Canadian institution across South Asia. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with education agents, high school counselors and managing operations within the region.


Key responsibilities will include, and are not limited to:


  • Represent the institution across South Asia and maintain direct communication with students, agents, counselors and parents
  • Responsible for recruitment outreach and support counselors in the region
  • Responsible for direct counseling of Prospects and follow-ups with Applicants
  • Pre-assess the student profiles and assist students to complete the application process and share relevant information.
  • Attend recruitment and outreach events organized by Agents and various stakeholders
  • Conduct virtual events and online sessions for students and agents
  • Plan and execute Conversion activities for offer holders and support students throughout the admission cycle.
  • Provide market updates, trends and monthly reports to the international office.
  • Be a part of marketing, recruitment and pre-departure events

 

Candidate Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in any stream
  • 2-5 years of work experience in a similar or equivalent role in the international education domain.
  • Good relationship with high schools in the region is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Open for extensive travel across India and neighboring countries if required
  • Dynamic, outgoing and committed to customer service and client relations
