Position: IT Purchasing AnalystLocation: Remote - coverage to 10:30pm ISTPay: $8-$10 USD per hourQualifications:Bachelor’s degree required7-8+ years of experience within Procurement, Purchasing or Supply ChainExperience within various IT categories:Software, Managed Services, Hardware, Network, TelecomExtensive experience with MSAs redlining, & contract negotiationsExcellent negotiating & problem solving skillsExcellent soft skills as well as reporting skillsDay to Day:Insight Global is looking for a Purchasing Analyst to join the team of one of its largest Automotive OEM clients headquartered in Metro Detroit, MI. This person can either sit remotely in South America or Europe, but must be able to work daily until 12pm est. This person must be fluent in English, and have great soft skills. They will be supporting the Purchasing organization of the client working within specific domains around Services, Software, Hardware, Network, Telecom, etc.Specific Responsibilities:Procurement Management: Purchase IT equipment, software, and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition.Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure the best deals.Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with Company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT contract entitlements.Contract Management: Oversee the lifecycle of IT contracts, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.Collaboration: Work closely with IT and other departments to understand their needs and provide procurement support.Reporting: Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and vendor performance to senior management
