PRT Science

Job Overview: We are looking for a passionate and dedicated PRT Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education and a genuine interest in nurturing young minds. As a PRT Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching science subjects to primary school students, helping them develop a solid foundation in scientific principles and encouraging a lifelong interest in the subject.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging science lessons that cater to the learning needs of primary school students.
• Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and hands-on activities to make science fun and accessible.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
• Assess and evaluate students' progress through assignments, tests, and projects.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to integrate science with other subjects and participate in school-wide initiatives.
• Provide extra support to students who may need additional help in understanding scientific concepts.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in science education and incorporate new teaching methods and resources as appropriate.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about students' progress and any concerns.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching science at the primary level.
• Strong understanding of the primary school science curriculum and best practices in science education.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate young students.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching science.
