Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Planning Engineer for our Oil and Gas division at Wings Global Services. This full-time position is based in Mumbai and requires a professional with 7 to 10 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will bring their expertise in project scheduling, cost control, and resource planning, specifically in the context of EPC projects, to uphold our commitment to delivering innovative and efficient solutions.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 is mandatory for developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring streamlined project progression.
  • Extensive experience in project scheduling to effectively manage timelines and deliverables across complex engineering projects.
  • Strong grasp of cost control strategies to oversee and optimize project budgets, enhancing financial efficiency.
  • Ability to manage EPC projects comprehensively, from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with industry standards.
  • Proficient in resource planning to allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently across projects.
  • Skilled in critical path method to identify and address potential project delays proactively, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Experience in progress measurement to accurately track project milestones and performance against pre-defined metrics.
  • Working knowledge of SAP to integrate project management processes and enhance cross-functional collaboration.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Monitor project costs and budgets, implementing cost control measures to maintain financial discipline.
  • Lead the planning and execution of EPC projects, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Coordinate resource planning activities, optimizing the use of personnel and materials across projects.
  • Implement and analyze critical path method techniques to improve project timeline forecasts and address bottlenecks.
  • Conduct regular progress measurement and reporting to stakeholders, ensuring transparency in project development.
  • Utilize SAP for integrated project management, enhancing data accuracy and decision-making capabilities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive project success through strategic planning and execution.
