Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the setup, management, and optimization of Pointo Hub's. This role includes managing end-to-end operations, ensuring efficient store setup, optimizing supply chain processes, and driving profitability through effective P&L management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations within the retail or e-commerce sector, with specific experience in dark store management.

Key Responsibilities:

1.POINTO HUB Setup and Management:

o Lead the planning, setup, and operational launch of new POINTO HUB in strategic locations.

o Ensure that all hubs are fully equipped, staffed, and operationally efficient before launch.

o Oversee the design and layout of Hub to optimize product flow, picking, and packing processes.

2. Profit and Loss (P&L) Management:

o Take full ownership of the P&L for each hub, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.

o Analyze financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to increase profitability.

o Work closely with the finance team to track and report on operational expenses, revenue, and key financial metrics.

3. Inventory and Supply Chain Optimization:

o Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained to meet demand while minimizing waste and overstock.

o Collaborate with suppliers, procurement teams, and logistics providers to streamline the supply chain and improve delivery timelines.

o Implement robust inventory management systems to monitor stock levels and ensure product availability.

4.Operational Efficiency:

o Continuously review and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, speed, and accuracy in order fulfilment.

o Leverage technology and automation tools to optimize picking, packing, and delivery processes.

o Establish and monitor KPIs for operational performance, including order fulfilment times, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

5. Team Leadership and Development:

o Build and manage a high-performing team responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hubs

o Provide ongoing training, support, and development opportunities to team members to enhance performance.

o Ensure that staffing levels are adequate to meet operational needs, particularly during peak demand periods.

6. Compliance and Safety:

o Ensure all hub operations comply with local regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.

o Implement safety protocols to protect staff and ensure a safe working environment.

7. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:

o Work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.

o Collaborate with the technology team to integrate and enhance systems that support hub operations.

-Key Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PMP) is a plus.

Experience:

o 7-10 years of experience in operations management, with at least 3-5 years focused on dark store setup and management.

o Proven experience in managing P&L responsibilities and driving operational profitability.

o Experience in retail, e-commerce, or logistics with a deep understanding of fulfilment operations.

Skills:

o Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, inventory management, and logistics optimization.

o Proficiency in using operations and warehouse management software (WMS) and other relevant tools.

o Excellent leadership and team management skills.

o Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and controlling costs.
