Sr Data Security Engineer

Key Skills

Handson experience with implementation of IBM Guardium and DLP technologies across a large enterprise

Experience in engineering and optimization of IBM Guardium Database firewall solution DAM

Experience in DLP security solutions covering DLP Endpoint Discover Web Email

Experience in Design and implementation of Data Classification solution Sensitivity labels DLP policies PKI solution

Expertise in Cloud Data Protection

Expertise in Key management

Expertise in finetuning Data Security policies to reduce false detection

Ability to provide advice on Data Security compliance and regulations to reduce risk

Collaborate with business groups to help them identify classify and secure high value data

Implementation of proactive measures to enhance accuracy and effectiveness of Data Security tools

Work with global teams to provide consistent processes and solutions

Excellent presentation and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills

Good understanding on cloud security concepts

Good understanding of organizational network architecture

Key Responsibilities

Manage the engineering activities related to Data Security including

Engineer and optimize the IBM Guardium Database firewall solution DAM

Support the customer in the development of the Cybersecurity Strategy and roadmap

Recommend Architecture perform design document and implementation of the inscope security technologies and controls in alignment with the customers Information Security Policies and Standards

Provide valuable expertise to help client resolve challenging data security problems

Platform optimization Ensuring that the architectureconfigurationspolicies of the inscope customer security technologies are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness in line with the customers Enterprise Architecture Information Security and Change Management processes

Proactive and continual capability analysis and assessment of the inscope customer security technologies architecture and design of controls Discussion and presentation of recommendations for improvements to the customer

Tool feature evaluation and testing POCs

Create review maintain and update documentation including Documenting Publishing fixes in central knowledge base

Qualifications

8 to 10 years of experience in implementing and managing Data security solutions for an enterprise network

Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science or a related discipline

Knowledge and understanding across a wide range of technology domains and application frameworks and have ability to quickly grasp relationships of various disciplines

Excellent communication skills with strong business and technical vision

Experience demonstrating strong leadership selfmotivation and accountability

Experience on leading complex projects crossfunctionally
