Job Overview
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will join a growing Sales team in the Zonal offices of a leading sanitaryware & lighting manufacturer. The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will partner with the National Sales HR Head and Zonal leadership team to provide strategic HR support and ensure a positive employee experience for sales team across the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Zonal sales leaders to understand business needs and translate them into effective HR strategies.
- Support the full employee lifecycle for the assigned sales zone, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
- Develop and implement HR initiatives to attract, retain, and develop top sales talent.
- Provide guidance and coaching to sales managers on HR practices and policies.
- Manage employee relations for the assigned zone, including handling employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
- Oversee payroll and benefits administration for the assigned zone where necessary.
- Stay updated on latest HR trends and best practices in the sales domain.
- Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in the development and implementation of sales training programs.
- Identify training needs in the zone and support L&D team and the Sales HR head in developing training programs to enhance their skills and knowledge. This could include sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer relationship management.
- Implement employee engagement initiatives to improve morale and retention within the zone.
- Collaborate with other HR teams to drive cross-functional projects and initiatives.
- Conduct regular analysis of HR metrics and provide insights and recommendations to the Zonal leadership team
- Control attrition, especially for Hi Performers and create programs to ring fence them
Required Skill Set
Educational & Other Qualifications Required
- MBA in HR, with 5-7 years of experience with at least 2 years in Business HR or HRBP.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and practices across the employee lifecycle.
- Experience in recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and compensation & benefits.
- Proven ability to partner with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies.

- Strong understanding of labour laws and compliance regulations.
- Analytical mindset with excellent understanding of people challenges and having a solution-oriented approach.
