The company provides scalable manpower solutions for Blue collared workforce in southern India. With a focus on urban logistics, Nikkou Logistics aggregates commercial vehicles for distribution and has onboarded 700+ truckers on its platform, serving clients like Amazon, Flipkart, and ITC. The company is known for its customized logistics solutions and commitment to empowering urban trucker communities.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Key Account Manager at Nikkou Logistics Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru. The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing key client accounts, developing business plans, providing excellent customer service, and overseeing key account relationships. Daily tasks may include analyzing account performance, planning strategies to increase customer satisfaction, and ensuring efficient service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple locations within a region.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that drive efficiency and productivity
Manage, hire, train, and develop site managers and supporting staff.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
Analyze performance data and make recommendations for improvements to increase productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to develop and implement strategies that support overall company goals.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on operational performance, including budgets, revenue, expenses, and KPIs
Identify and resolve operational issues and challenges in a timely and effective manner.
- Sourcing freight requirements: Clarify requirements with client where necessary, Determine the most appropriate means of transportation, considering cost and time factors, Identify sources to meet specification, Quoting Clients.
- Quoting Clients: Provide quotes taking into consideration relevant criteria and ability to comply with company terms and conditions. Make recommendations and agree contract with the client. Negotiate cost reductions with suppliers where appropriate.
- Client Relationship: Lead and maintain an on-going relationship with the client, keeping client pro-actively informed, responding to needs and developing solutions.
Requirements:
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or related field
Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in operations management, preferably in a multi-site environment
Proven track record of managing teams and achieving business objectives
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to analyze data, think critically, and make informed decisions
Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
