The National Retail Manager will be responsible for the overall retail business for ECCO India. The National Retail Manager will ultimately be responsible for creating and upkeeping the retail sales across India for the ECCO brand and for driving the strategic development of the brand in all active offline markets, whilst growing retail sales and expanding the business into new retail channels.The National Retail Manager will lead and develop the retail sales organization of India and functions as the primary link towards the Senior Management in India thus ensuring alignment and development based on global and regional ECCO standards and principles.The National Retail Manager will maintain a strong relationship with network with the key business partners, brokers, key stakeholder of franchisee partners, mall management and key decision makers of our retail business.Key responsibilities:- Handling Product, Planning, Buying & Merchandising for retail channel for the Country. - Develop country expansion growth strategy across India in retail & store expansion, which includes the retail store, finalization of location along with daily store operations management. - OTB Planning as per AOP, Sales forecasts & Financial Budgets while ensuring Option Planning, Assortment Selection, Pricing, Retail Buying & Model Stock Preparation - Driving P&L thru Seasonal Sell thru, Inventory health & Month Cover - Improve the brand image, customer experience and customer service through retail store operations - To provide guidance to the Store Managers and company about stores’ performance on financial parameters such as revenue by category, SKU (stock keeping unit), Brand, gross margins, inventory turns, operating costs and shrinkage on a periodic basis. - Conduct deep dive analysis and provide routine executive-level reporting on the partner’s current business and future opportunities. Publish recommendations and action plans based on data. - Monitor qualitative issues with respect to customer relationships, loyalties, and repeat purchases. - To segment customers based on the store transactional data and provide insights for improved merchandising, promotional offers and loyalty enhancement programmes for own and partner stores. - Monitor store productivity and performance - Ensure the right VM guidelines and improve the overall look and feel of the brand store. - Ensure execution of fixtures which concatenates with brand guidelinesTasks:Budgets, Business Plans and Reporting- Alignment with the Business Plan for India (3 / 5 year plan) together with the India Senior Management in the substructure; identify and outline required resources to facilitate and execute the strategy - Establish complete action plans to achieve budgets and targets and implement with the team for embracement and execution - Improvement on Sales reduction %.Sales & Retail- Develop annual expansion plans for further growth on conceptual sales and planning the correct investments, if required. - Develop buying targets, alignment of all key stakeholders. - Ensure the right product mix in terms of brand perception, sales targets and profitability - Review and proposal of store projects (incl. site visits) - Review of weekly India performance for channelBusiness Development:- Manage the network of brokers and mall management. - New partners on board for business expansion - Institutional dealsEducation- Bachelor’s degree, - MBA candidates will be preferredExperience and Competencies- At least 10 years of relevant working experience - In depth understanding within retail and/or fashion industry with International exposure of managing multi geography stakeholders - Strong communication & negotiation skills - Ability to adapt to stressful situations and displays constructive and proactive behaviourWork Location : Lower Parel (West), MumbaiWork from OfficeMobility / Travel: Open to travel – Nationally and Internationally
