Group Product Manager – Brand Engagement

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Group Product Manager (GPM) – Brand Engagement & Optimization to lead our efforts in reshaping how brands interact with our platform to better meet shopper needs and optimize their operations in the hyperlocal quick commerce ecosystem. This role involves expanding our existing Brand Analytics product and developing innovative solutions that drive value for both brands and shoppers. The GPM will manage a team, including a Senior Product Manager, to execute these strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership:
• Define and drive the product vision and strategy focused on transforming brand behaviors and operations within Zepto.
• Lead initiatives that encourage brands to adopt practices aligning with shopper expectations and hyperlocal dynamics.
• Product Development:
• Oversee the enhancement of the Brand Analytics platform, introducing features like next best actions to guide brands toward optimal performance.
• Identify opportunities to develop new products that facilitate brand success in quick commerce.
• Team Management:
• Manage and mentor a team of product managers, including the Senior Product Manager, fostering innovation and excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, sales, and marketing to ensure cohesive product development and execution.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Build strong relationships with brand partners to understand their needs, challenges, and areas for behavioral improvement.
• Communicate product strategies, insights, and updates to internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Market Analysis:
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging technologies in hyperlocal commerce and brand behavior analytics.
• Leverage market insights to inform the product roadmap and strategic decisions.
Qualifications
• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience:
• 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of building and scaling B2B products, particularly those influencing user or partner behavior.
• Experience working with brands and a deep understanding of their operational needs within a digital marketplace.
• Skills:
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis to drive product decisions and measure impact.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
