Job Title: SAP ILM Consultant

Location: Hyderabad/ Bangalore/Mumbai/Pune/Chennai

Mode of Work: Work from Office

Job Description:


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) Developer to join our team. As an ILM Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP ILM solutions to meet our clients' data governance and compliance needs. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and

technical teams to deliver efficient and effective ILM solutions that optimize data management and enhance system performance.


Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients and business stakeholders to understand their data governance requirements, compliance needs, and information lifecycle management strategies.

• Design and develop SAP ILM solutions, including data archiving, retention management, data destruction, and system decommissioning, using SAP ILM modules and custom development.

• Customize and configure SAP ILM modules, such as SAP ILM Data Archiving, SAP ILM Retention Management, SAP ILM Data Destruction, and SAP ILM System Decommissioning, to align with client-specific requirements.

• Conduct data analysis and system assessments to identify data objects for archiving, retention, or destruction, and develop technical strategies for data lifecycle management.

• Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to define data retention schedules, data retention policies, and data classification frameworks based on legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements.

• Develop and maintain custom reports, data extraction routines, and data transformation processes to support SAP ILM functionalities.

• Perform technical enhancements, bug fixes, and system optimizations to ensure the performance, reliability, and compliance of SAP ILM solutions.

• Provide technical guidance and support to functional consultants and end-users on SAP ILM functionality, best practices, and data management procedures.

• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and workshops to educate clients and end-users on SAP ILM features, customizations, and technical aspects.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

• Extensive experience (5+ years) working as SAP ILM Developer, with a focus on designing and developing SAP ILM solutions.

• Strong knowledge of SAP ILM modules, including SAP ILM Data Archiving, SAP ILM Retention Management, SAP ILM Data Destruction, and SAP ILM System Decommissioning.
