The ideal candidate should be exposed to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Preparation of Vouchers (Cash Voucher, Payment Voucher, Sale Voucher, Purchase Voucher etc.)
- Preparation of Debit Notes & Credit Notes to Clients.
- Preparation of Invoices to Clients.
- Reconciliation of Bank Book Statements, debtors & creditors' Accounts.
- Reconciliation of Credit card Statement.
- Preparation of TDS & GST Challan.
- Depositing TDS, TCS & GST challan on time.
- Knowledge of Branch Accounting.
- Payment follow-up with clients regularly.
- Preparation of MIS report to Management.
- Preparation of Trail Balance, P&L & Balance Sheet on Provision basic.
- Knowledge of Accounts receivable & payables.
- Preparation of Audit reports.
- Finalization& Closing books of Accounts.
- Basic knowledge of PF & ESIC and PLB, BSP
- Work closely with team members to assist with the accounts
- Assist with the annual audit process, including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
- Research and analyze expense variances for company management
Qualifications
- 3+ years' of professional accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
- Experience of working in a travel agency preferred
